Breast tissue is composed of fat and milk producing glands that are controlled by a monthly cycle. During the month, hormonal changes often cause the milk glands to swell and retain fluid. Small cysts may form and are especially prevalent in the lymph nodes under the armpits. Fibrocystic lumps feel like small balloons filled with fluid and seem to float when pressed. The swollen enlarged tissue is often painful.
Fibrocystic breast lumps are benign breast tissue. They are as normal in some women as menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. They are a typical characteristic of the hormonal changes we experience each month. They are generally easy to detect because they become more painful and inflamed a few days before menstruation begins, and disappearing shortly after menstruation is over.
It can be a signal that our hormones are out of balance. Excess estrogen production can cause the tissue to swell and hold water. A deficiency of essential fatty acids can also contribute.

Recommendation for treatment:
You will need to consider herbs to cleanse the blood and lymphatic.
Eliminate sugar, white flour, and refined foods.
Eliminate all caffeine- coffee, chocolate, soft drinks, black and green teas.
Eliminate red meat, which is a source of exogenous estrogen.
Decrease fats, especially animal fats. Replace with unsaturated vegetable oils which are high in unsaturated fatty acids.
Decrease dairy products which are sources of exogenous estrogen. Yogurt-plain and cultured milks are acceptable.
Increase foods that are high in vitamin C, E, and selenium. These are antioxidants and help increase the detoxification of estrogen.
Avoid soy products, or any type of hormone replacement therapy- including birth control pills.

The AIAN is one of the several institutions operated by Ananda Marga Gurukula - an autonomous university. Based on Neo-Humanist Education Values, it aims at liberating the individual and society-at-large from physical and mental bondage, thereby clearing a path for spiritual realization.

The free clinic at Ananda Nagar sees 40 to 60 patients daily. Currently the entire clinic is supported by the donations generated from two small Acupuncture clinics in rural Vermont where patients accept a two dollar increase to their fee, which is donated to the program.
A monthly, yearly or one-time donation is a way to show your support and help AIAN meet their needs for space, supplies and equipment so that they can continue to provide quality care and training. The AIAN is a registered 501(c)3 organization, your donation is tax deductible.

Call for location details

Anjelika will be teaching a class on how to make herbal remedies right in your own kitchen.
In this class, you will learn how to make medicinal salves, herbal infused oils and body balms.

You will learn how to assess the energetic constituents of an herb, to understand the herbal properties of certain plants, and I will share valuable recipes with you, recipes for topical medicinal formulas partially formulated by my herbal teacher Michael Moore and partially through my direct investigation.

You will learn combinations for medicated topical formulas used to improve healing of any injury, to strengthen connective tissue, to improve blood and lymphatic circulation and to nurture the nervous system.

My most popular salves are the connective tissue tonic salve and trauma salve, they are helping many with symptoms ranging from trauma due to chemotherapy to chronic multiple joint pain.

Our remedies will not require any chemical preservatives (so they can be made 100% naturally).

Participants will take home a 4oz. Relaxing Body Balm, a 1oz. Trauma Salve, a 1oz. Connective Tissue Tonic Salve and a 4oz. blood & lymphatic circulation oil.

We will be cooking in my kitchen, I can accommodate 10 people, you are registered for the class once I receive the tuition.

The tuition is $150. Please budget 3-4 hours.

_Hello Everyone,
After the last week's cupping class, some of the massage therapists have asked me to teach a class on Qigong and I've decided to teach a 5-Sunday module on Heaven and Earth Qigong.
Here is some information about it:
I learned the technique in 1997 from my acupuncture teacher Ling Zhi Sheng and from his father Ling Chin Yi. Ling Chin Yi learned it from his acupuncture teacher who was a well-known acupuncturist in Shanghai in the beginning of the 20th century and who later became the first dean of the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After his wife's death, Ling Chin Yi's teacher spent two years at a monastery near Shanghai and learned this technique from the monks.
According to my teachers, Heaven and Earh Qigong was designed for acupuncturists because it promotes the flow of Qi into the hands of a practitioner. As such it can be utilized by acupuncturists, massage therapists, or anyone else involved in the hands-on healing arts. I began practicing it in 1997 and I believe this technique was one of the main reasons for my success as a massage therapist and, later, as an acupuncturist. Not only did it enhance the flow of energy through my hands, it improved my intuition and allowed me to diagnose through the hands.
The technique should be practiced twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. It takes about 20 minutes each time.
I will be teaching the class 5 Sundays in the row, starting with Sunday, January 29th and ending Sunday, February 26th. I will teach it at the Pukalani park, next to the public pool.
Each Sunday, the class will start at 10 am and will run for 60-90 minutes. The cost of the entire series is $150.
The class can accommodate up to 15 people and your space is reserved once I receive the tuition.
Please note that tuition, once paid, is non-refundable, so make sure these dates work for you.

Thank you,
Sasha

_I am very content with the feedback from clients who are using my herbal face creams, thanks for spreading the news to friends and family all across the globe.

In my practice as a clinical herbalist I am realizing through direct experience the benefits of topical medicinal herbal cremes, ointments, salves, oils, and lotions.
The skin is the largest organ of the body and is capable of absorbing herbal properties and therefore enhancing the healing of the whole system.
My research is confirming that you can support multiple organ systems with a medicinal topical formula.
I am creating a line of herbal body therapeutics that combines the benefits of plant medicine with aromatic essential oils.
The base oils are infused in herbs that strengthen connective tissue,
function as anti-inflammatories, astringents, moisturizers, and improve blood & lymphatic circulation.

Connective tissue health is responsible for slowing the aging of your skin and improving
the quality of the filtering organs. Strong connective tissue means
healthy, firm, and glowing skin and healthy lungs, kidneys, liver, blood and lymphatic system.

The essential oils I use are supplied by true artisans, distilled with
purity without perfumes or chemicals, just pure essence of the plants.
My line will never contain chemicals or preservatives. I will use natural preservatives like Vitamin C, E, A and grapefruit seed extract.

End result, these products will be enhancing your health and beauty.

_On Sunday, November 27th, at 10 am at our Community Clinic I will be
teaching a 2-3 hour class on cupping. The class will be interactive, you will be
treating others with the techniques you've learned.
The cost of the class is $40.The cost of equipment is $60 should you choose to order them.
You will be receiving a total of 8 cups in various sizes.

In this class I will demonstrate how blood stagnation contributes to  many
modern illnesses. We will address conditions  that can be  successfully treated
by cupping: detoxification and purification of the blood  & the lymphatic
system, massage of the internal organs, help in  treating asthma and lung
congestion, release of muscular tension and TMJ, and much more.

The feedback I receive from massage therapists who are incorporating cupping therapy into their practice is very positive. Reports that clients tend to release more and go deeper during a treatment is very common. There is medical value to these treatments, pure blood circulates and nourishes each organ system, you are bringing better health to your client.

Whether you're a massage therapist wanting to learn  about the benefits of
cupping, a patient with a history of muscular or skeletal problems, or a parent
who is helping their child  overcome a cough or a flu, cupping therapy is a
simple  technique to learn and I look forward to sharing what I know with  you.

I can accommodate 12 people, your space will be reserved once  you pay for the class and the cups if you decide on ordering them.
I will need all reservations by this Thursday, this gives me enoughtime to order your equipment.

Thank you.
